Venue operations for entertainment centres
Lanyard brings your staff rota, training, onboarding and team chat together with live control of the music, lighting, projection and laser tag scoring on site, from any phone or desktop.
Screens from the live demo - a made-up venue, so every name in them is invented.
Laser tag scoring and the arena controls are for laser tag venues. The rota, training, onboarding, chat and dashboards work for any venue with a team to run.
One place for the people side of the business and the hardware side of the building.
Build and publish the rota, let staff swap and pick up open shifts, and clock in on a shared tablet with a PIN.
Write courses with quizzes, assign them by location, track completion and send reminders when they're due.
Welcome new starters automatically and keep certificates and right-to-work checks with expiry reminders.
Direct messages, group chats and team channels, with pinned posts and shift swap cards.
Playlists and a song library played through the venue's speakers, controlled from any phone.
A lighting desk in the browser with fixtures, scenes and BPM-synced chases.
Run scoreboards, live camera feeds and media on the venue's screens, with live laser tag scores.
"When a game starts, switch the lights and change the playlist" - rules that run the venue for you.
Build home screens from widgets: who's on today, training progress, announcements and more.
Managers and staff sign in from a desktop or their phone, and can install it like an app. Each company gets its own branding, locations and roles, and sees only its own data.
A small Windows app on the venue's PCs plays the music, drives the DMX lights, runs the screens and reads the laser tag system, taking commands from Lanyard in real time.
The things people usually want to know before getting in touch.
For the staff side - the rota, training, onboarding and chat - nothing: it runs in a web browser on a phone or computer. For the music, lighting, screens and laser tag scoring you'll need a Windows PC running the Lanyard venue app, which keeps itself up to date. Lighting control uses an ENTTEC Open DMX USB interface.
Yes. Staff can use it in their phone's browser or install it like an app, and get notifications for rota changes, shift reminders and messages.
No. Shift management, training, chat, onboarding and announcements can each be switched on or off for your company.
Lanyard is hosted in West Europe, so your data stays in the UK and EU. Each company only ever sees its own data.
Sign-in can be protected with two-factor authentication using an authenticator app or an email code, accounts lock after repeated wrong passwords, and an admin can erase a person's data when they ask (GDPR).
The venue app reads the scores and game status your laser tag system sends over the venue's network. Get in touch and we'll check it works with yours.
It depends on your venue - get in touch and we'll talk it through.
Yes - the live demo on this page lets you sign in as an admin, a manager or a member of staff at a made-up venue, no sign-up needed.
Explore a made-up venue full of sample staff, rotas, courses and dashboards. Pick who you'd like to be, no sign-up needed.
Everything: company settings, users and roles, the rota, training, and the venue controls.
Run the rota, approve time off, assign training and manage the team at a location.
See your shifts, do your training, request time off and chat with the team.
The demo is shared by everyone trying it, and resets to fresh sample data every night at 4am UK time. Emails aren't sent from it, and there's no kiosk hardware attached, so music and lighting controls won't play anything. Please don't enter real personal details.
Three steps from here to your team using Lanyard.
Tell us about your venue: how many sites you run, how big the team is, and which parts of Lanyard you'd use.
Your company, sites and branding are set up for you. Your team get an email inviting them to sign in, on their phone or a computer.
If you'll use the music, lighting, screens or laser tag scoring, put the Lanyard venue app on the PCs that run them. It keeps itself up to date.
